Thinking about Kevin Day telling Neil that he knows how Riko is and that he's there if Neil wants to talk and just how, while yes kevin knows the riko that tortured neil and neil knows the riko that broke kevin's hand (and terrorized him, ecc ecc) [and Jean knows that riko too, even better than them]...no one else knew the riko that was a brother to kevin. He has no one to talk about it to, maybe no one would even be willing to listen if he wanted to talk about that. He shares that with no one, but that type of 'connection' has colored each and every of his interactions with Riko, good and bad, and is relevant to his feelings about it all. That's not something that neither neil nor jean can understand, and idk that must be so isolating
